The
Show
Europe´s
most successful ABBA Show
When
Agnetha Faltskög, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny
Andersson and Anni-Frid "Frida" Lyngstad
decided to go seperate ways, the break up of one
of the world’s most successful bands brought
the roof down on the heads of millions of fans
in the early eighties. 18 Hit-Singles - six of
them Number One in the UK - and 350 million albums
sold describe the uniqueness of this band mathematically.
Their
break up has torn a deep hole which is for many
fans not yet filled in. Up to now tribute shows
revive the glamour pop of the band and play the
super hits like "Mamma Mia", "Dancing
Queen", “The Winner Takes It All”
"Money, Money, Money" in concerts. One
is tempted to say: ABBA was copied often, but
is up to now never reached.
ABBA MANIA is different!
ABBA MANIA comes up to the Swedish
cult band even in the smallest details. The
concentration on the music, the costumes, the
choreography and the instrumentation make ABBA
MANIA a nearly perfect concert show. The reference
for ABBA and the respect for their unique lifework
made us study the music carefully in order to
make an impressive revival. We also looked into
the stage and the light design of the original
and above all made the colourful costumes a
hallmark for this tribute concert. ABBA´s
original and pioneering videos, their photos
and the original album covers helped to develop
ABBA MANIA. In the music studio the vocal parts
were analyzed and studied by our vocalists for
weeks.
A
fascinating reanimation
The
unquestioned success of ABBA MANIA is based
on the authenticity of the complete sound. In
addition to that, every nuance in the cut of
the costumes and every gesture of our performers
is authentic.
The
sparkling musical event on platform shoes, with
Benny´s white electric piano of, Bjoern´s
extravagant star design guitar, the luminous,
rotating disco globe and the ear candies like
"Mamma Mia", "Waterloo“
or "Dancing Queen" let the audience
cheer and welcome every song with applause and
sing along with great feeling. The songs of
the Swedish cult band once gave a whole generation
an attitude to life. ABBA MANIA beams them up
from the 70s/80s into our actual time. This
fascinating reanimation takes place in a fascinating
performance, which lives up to the phenomenon
of ABBA in every aspect. It is an ABBA happening
for the young and the young-at-heart, 21 world
hits in the best ABBA concert since ABBA. Once
you listen to them, they will never get out
of your head.
